Individual assessment, treatment planning, patient education, monitoring, and ongoing clinical review for weight-management and metabolic-health programs.
How the care is organized
Weight-management and metabolic-health programs begin with the person being evaluated. The clinical team assesses treatment appropriateness within the program’s scope and the information available.
Treatment planning includes patient education, monitoring, and ongoing review. The program needs a clear way to receive questions, communicate next steps, and bring clinical concerns to the appropriate professional.
Medication decisions belong with the clinician. Pharmacy operations support communication and fulfillment; they do not determine what is prescribed or pressure a clinician toward a substitution.

The medical group is not defined by one treatment or product. Prescribing, when appropriate, remains an independent clinical decision.
LPMDMG is pharmacy agnostic. Arrangements must support appropriate care, applicable licensure and quality requirements, and patient choice where permitted.
